Welcome to Grounded Growth Recreational Therapy! My name is Leanne George and I'm the founder and head Recreational Therapist of Grounded Growth Recreational Therapy.
Recreational Therapy is an experiential, evidenced-based approach that uses purposeful play and leisure education to support individuals and groups in improving overall well-being
Grounded Growth RT provides Recreational Therapy consulting and experiential services for IOP/PHP Programs, families, athletic teams, and business teams, with a focus on connection, growth, and meaningful engagement
I bring over six years of experience as a Recreational Therapist, with a background in behavioral and mental health, team building, and family and relationship development. With a master’s degree in Recreational Therapy, I value evidence-based practice and bring strong facilitation skills to every experience.
Through Grounded Growth Recreational Therapy, my team and I combine our training and experience to provide meaningful, individualized experiences that meet the unique needs of the groups we serve.
